The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias conducted the Annual Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Station Ampara today (3 September 2020). The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore PSN Fernando.

Certificates of Commendation were awarded during the parade to undermentioned service and civil personnel in recognition of their exceptional services rendered towards the Station and to the SLAF.

The inspection commenced from the Station Headquarters after which the Commander visited lodger formations and other sections. On concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed all Officers, Other Ranks and Civilian personnel of the SLAF Station and praised them on job well-done and their dedicated service to the nation and SLAF in particular during challenging times while maintaining highest discipline standards.
