The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Katunayake conducted a Community Service Programme at “Veterans House” Katana on 3 September 2020 in order to mark 69th Anniversary of the Base.

Under the guidance of the President SVU of the SLAF Base Katunayake, the Officer In Charge SVU, Wing Commander KDS Gunawardane organized the event. During the programme, a presentation of gifts, serving of lunch and a musical programme were held for Service Veterans with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks of the Base.

Further, the Base Commander Air Vice Marshal HSS Thuyacontha and President Seva Vanitha Mrs. Rasika Thuyacontha also participated for the event.
