A house constructed by the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) was handed over to Flight Sergeant Jayasena WDG (Catering Assistant). The House Warming Ceremony was held under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Mayuri Prabhavi Dias at Bokkawala, Kandy on 11 September 2020.

This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit while construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Troops at SLAF Station Sigiriya under the supervision of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SD Kalubowila. The overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present for the ceremony.
