The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, made a farewell call on the Acting Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at the Army Headquarters this morning. (28 October 2020).

After a discussion on matters of mutual interest, mementos were exchanged between the two Commanders to mark this occasion. Air Marshal Dias conveyed he gratitude to Lieutenant General Silva for the support extended to him during his tenure.
