SLAF Base Hingurakgoda conducted a blood donation campaign yesterday (28 October 2020) at the Base premises. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the District General Hospital in Polonnaruwa under the guidance of the Base Commander, Air Commodore NHDN Dias.

The intention of this campaign was to donate blood to the National Blood Transfusion Service in order to cater for the demand for blood during the prevailing health situation in the country. 109 personnel including Officers participated for the event.
