The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias, completed formal farewell visits to the Air Force Academy and all Air Bases on 30 and 31 October 2020.

On the 30th of October 2020 he visited SLAF Base Ratmalana and Katunayake and on the 31st of October 2020 visits were made to the Air Force Academy China Bay and SLAF Bases Anuradhapura, Vavuniya and Hingurakgoda.  During his visits, he bade farewell to the members and thanked them for their contribution in helping him to lead the Sri Lanka Air Force to great heights during his tenure.
