The outgoing Defence Adviser at the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Group Captain Sean Unwin and the incoming Defence Adviser Captain Ian Cain jointly called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana yesterday (1 December 2020) at Air Force Headquarters.

The outgoing Australian Defence Adviser, Group Captain Sean Unwin thanked to the Commander for the cordial relationship during his tenure. He also introduced the newly appointed Defence Adviser Captain Ian Cain (Royal Australian Navy), his successor to the Commander. This was also the first occasion an Australian Defence Adviser called the Commander after assuming duties as the 18th Commander of the Air Force.

The Commander and the Defence Advisers had a cordial discussion before presenting both visitors with mementoes to mark the occasion.
