Annual Commanders’ Inspection – SLAF BIA

The Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke conducted the annual Air Force Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Bandaranaike International Airport unit on 08th October 2010.
The Commander was received and welcomed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain Peterson Fernando into the camp premises through a street lining of airmen. This unit is entrusted with providing security to the Bandaranaike International Airport.
During the visit the Commander declared open a billet and a Ward for the Medical Inspection Room.
