Sri Lanka Air Force Hockey team clinched the Dialog- Wijaya All Island 09 A side Hockey Championship 0n 09th October 2010 at the Nandimithra Ekanayaka International Hockey ground at Matale.  

22 leading teams around the island took part in the tournament. In the semi finals SLAF defeated the army team whilst Navy defeated the Police team to enter the finals.

During the final encounter SLAFs' LAC Mulafir scored two goals to over take the seamen who could score only one goal.

The Deputy Transport Minister Rohan Dissanayaka attended the occasion as the Chief Guest.
