CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT SCHOOL

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Catering Assistants and Ground Stewards Basic Courses was held at the Hospitality Management School, Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Sigiriya yesterday (16 February 2021).

The Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya, Group Captain Sanath Kalubowila graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chief Instructor, Language Training Sri Lanka Air Force Wing Commander MRM Hamza, the Commanding Officer of No 47 Regiment Wing, Wing Commander Janaka Kotinkaduwa, the Chief Instructor of the Hospitality Management School Wing Commander Buddhika Kularatne, Officers and Other Ranks of the cross sections were also present.

This ‘Certificate Awarding Ceremony’ is conducted at the end of the respective training programmes in recognition of their training achievements. The six months of training programmes were focused on basic trade training requirements of Catering Assistants and Ground Stewards trades. Eight (8) Ground Steward basic trainees and nineteen (19) Catering Assistants basic trainees were privileged to obtain their trade certificates at the occasion.

The following basic trainees received special awards during the ceremony.
