Sri Lanka Air Force Golfers won the Defence Services Games Golf Tournament held at the Eagles’ Golf Links in picturesque China Bay, Trincomalee today (25 February 2021).

This year’s Defence Services Golf Tournament was hosted by the Sri Lanka Air Force and was concluded this evening. The Director General Engineering of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal MD Ratnayake graced the tournament as the Chief Guest.

The tournament, played under ‘Handicap rules’ started off this morning with the participation from the SL Army, Navy and Air Force. Leading Aircraftman Premaratne GASG won the Defence Services Open Golf event securing the highest marks in the Gents category. The SLAF was able to secure both Men’s and Women’s Defence Services Golf Team Championships. The SL Army Team were able to secure the Runners Up position in both Men’s and Women’s Defence Services Golf Team Championships.
