The change of command of SLAF Station Koggala took place yesterday (02 June 2021) at the Station premises. The Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Station Parade Ground where the Acting Commanding Officer, Wing Commander MGWR Menuwara RSP, Pg Dip (Def Mgt) handed over command to Group Captain RMT Rajapaksha USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc.

The new Commanding Officer previously held the appointment of Staff Officer UAV at the Directorate of Air Operations, Air Force Headquarters before being appointed to command SLAF Station Koggala.
