Understanding the COVID-19 pandemic situation of the country, the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana took a generous decision to donate fresh and dry rations to the Sri Lanka Welfare Society of the Blind, Seeduwa which was conducted by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Katunayake on 19 June 21.

The President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at Katunayake, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa made the official handover of the items to the President, Sri Lanka Welfare Society of the Blind Women Mrs. WM Renuka.

Southern Air Commander and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, Officer Commanding Station Services Wing Commander RAMPR Dassanayake and Officer in Charge of the Seva Vanitha Unit at Katunayake, Flight Lieutenant KSB Anthony also participated for the occasion.
