The Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake, celebrated its’ 19th anniversary on 22 June 2021. This formation was established to undertake all kinds of Electrical and Mechanical installations, repairing and maintenance of generators, Air Conditioner Plants, Cool Rooms and other machinery within SLAF establishments.

The event was marked by donating dry ration packs to civil personnel in Negombo area who are badly affected by the present COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.
