Sri Lanka Air Force Station Morawewa celebrated its 48th anniversary on 29 July 2021. A customary parade was conducted for the commemoration of the Anniversary and a blood donation campaign was organized at the Station premises on 28 July 2021.

This worthy event was organized to fulfill the critical blood product requirements of the Trincomalee General Hospital in par with the Anniversary. Subsequently, “Shramadana” campaigns were conducted at the Gajaba Len Viharaya and the Morawewa tank on 28 July 2021 with the participation of service personnel of the Station.
