The change of command of the No 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron at SLAF Base Katunayake took place yesterday (04 August 2021) where the traditional Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Squadron Premises. Group Captain DNS Halahakoon previously held the appointment of Commanding Officer No 06 Air Defence Radar Squadron at the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy, China bay before being appointed to command the No 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron.
