SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT CONDUCTS HOUSE WARMING CEREMONY

A house constructed by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to Warrant Officer WME Nayanappriya. The House Warming Ceremony was held at Kendaliyaddapaluwa, Ganemulla on today (09 August 2021) under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana who graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The house was constructed under guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.
This Project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit while construction was carried out by SLAF Trade Training School Ekala. The overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering and the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Trade Training School, Group Captain DBV Weerasinghe.
A very limited number of Officers and Other Ranks from the Trade Training School and representatives from SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit were also present for the ceremony. The House Warming Ceremony was held in accordance with health guidelines which have been issued by the Ministry of Health in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
