Giving due consideration for the thoughts of children of SLAF Families in relation with the World Children’s Day celebration 2021, the “GUWAN RANDARU SITHTHAM” Art Competition - 2021 was organized by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit under the guidance of Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.

The Art competition was concluded at Air Force Headquarters with representation of drawings of each and every SLAF establishment and nearly 600 drawings of participants. The winners were selected by panel of judges which was led by the Air Secretary, Air Commodore Kithsiri Leelarathne. Following children were declared as the winners of the competition and they were awarded with prizes and certificates during the programme through their respective Base Commanders and Commanding Officers. All children who took part in this competition were awarded with a certificate of appreciation for their valuable participation to mark the “World Children Day” programme.
