The 39th Anniversary of SLAF Base Anuradhapura was celebrated yesterday (09 November 2021). To commemorate the event, community service projects and religious activities were organized under the guidance of the Base Commander, Group Captain JMDRAP Jayamaha, together with all Officers, Other Ranks and the civilian staff.

The celebration commenced with a Shramadana Campaign which was conducted at “Isurumuniya Temple” followed by an alms giving for the Maha Sanga at “Lankarama Temple”. Coinciding with the anniversary celebrations, a blood donation Champaign will be conducted at National Youth Center Anuradhapura on 22, 23 and 24 November 2021

Further, all events were held with adherence to health guidelines issued by DHS and government for the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
