The 12th Anniversary of the SLAF Hospital at Ratmalana was commemorated on 11 November 2021 at the Hospital premises adhering to strict COVID-19 guidelines. The celebrations commenced with the customary Working Parade. The parade was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain TVSS Alwis.

Addressing the Parade, the Commanding Officer thanked the staff and appreciated their tireless efforts during the past year made with regard to COVID-19 related activities including the establishment and smooth functioning of the COVID treatment centres for Officers, Other Ranks and their families. Further, she highlighted the contributions made by the staff for national causes such as the vaccination programmes conducted for general public as well as other activities carried out which were appreciated by the general public and stake holders.
