SLAF WOMEN’S TEAM WINS FRIENDLY MATCH AGAINST VISITING MALAYSIAN NATIONAL WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM

The Malaysian National Women’s Cricket Team arrived in Sri Lanka on the 05th of November 2021 to participate in Friendly Cricket Practice matches with Tri-Services prior to their departure to participate in the Women’s World Cup qualifier matches in Dubai.
The SLAF Women’s Cricket Team won the friendly T-20 Cricket Practice Match which was concluded yesterday (12 November 2021) at the SLAF Base Katunayake Cricket Grounds. The SLAF Women’s Cricket Team set a target of 113 runs in 20 overs and the Malaysian National Women’s Cricket Team scored only 46 runs for 9 wickets in their 20 overs.
The Southern Air Commander and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa graced the souvenir awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
