COMMANDER DECLARES OPEN ‘HARBOUR VIEW COTTAGE’ AT SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY

The newly established Holiday Home ‘Harbour View Cottage’ at SLAF Academy China Bay was declared open by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana today (16 November 2021).
The Commander was received upon his arrival at the SLAF Academy by the Commandant, Air Commodore Bandu Edirisinghe and accorded a Ceremonial Street Lining in accordance with SLAF traditions. After declaring open the newly established holiday facility, the Commander also inspected the facilities on offer at this new picturesque holiday facility.
The event was held in accordance with health guidelines for the prevention of spreading COVID-19. As such, the event was held with the participation of a limited number of Officers from the Academy.
