The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana conducted an inspection of the construction site allocated for the relocation of Air Force Headquarters today (04 December 2021). The Commander was received at the site by Air Vice Marshal Rohan Pathirage, Project Director of Defence Headquarters Complex. The Commander was conducted to all levels of the new construction and briefed in detail on the present progress of the construction by relevant engineering officials.

Members of the Air Force Board of Management and Senior Officer who were responsible for different tasks of the project were present to brief the Commander on their respective areas. The Director Civil Engineering Civil Engineering Officers responsible for the progress of the project were also present to brief the Commander of the present progress.
