The outgoing Defence Advisor at the British High Commission in Colombo, Colonel David Ashman called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana today (08 December 2021) at Air Force Headquarters. Colonel Ashman was also accompanied by Colonel Paul Clayton, who will be taking over duties as the new Defence Advisor for Sri Lanka and Maldives at the British High Commission in Colombo.

The outgoing and incoming advisors had a cordial discussion with the Commander where he conveyed his gratitude to Colonel Ashman for the friendly relationship enjoyed by the SLAF during his tenure. The Commander also extended his best wishes to Colonel Ashman for his future endeavors. The Commander also extended his best wishes to Colonel Clayton on his appointment.

The Commander and the visiting Defence Advisors exchanged mementos before they departed Air Force Headquarters.
