Under the guidance of Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Chamini Pathirana, SLAF Base Katunayake Seva Vanitha Unit conducted a donation programme of distributing dry rations for Sri Lanka Blind Women’s Welfare Society at Seeduwa on 17 December 2021.  

This programme was successfully completed under the supervision of Southern Air Commander and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and President Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Enoka Rajapaksa while Air Commodore Niluka Abeysekera participated on behalf to the Base Commander for the event.

Subsequently, the  Seva Vanitha Unit  of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala conducted another donation programme  of distributing 200 lunch packets  for the same Sri Lanka Blind Women’s Welfare Society at Seeduwa on 23 December 2021.
 
This programme completed under the supervision of Commanding Officer Trade Training School Ekala, Group Captain Damian Weerasinghe with the presence of Officer Incharge Seva Vanitha Unit of the Trade Training School, Group Captain Shanthini Gunawardana.

These events were held with limited participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
