Under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana, a special programme was conducted on yesterday (04 January 2022) to distribute gift packs to school children of SLAF personnel who made their supreme sacrifice to the nation. The symbolic donation of gift packs was carried out at the Seva Vanitha Unit, Air Force Headquarters and the event was graced by the Chairperson.
 
The other gift packs were handed over to the Seva Vanitha representatives at the Bases and Stations of the Sri Lanka Air Force to be distributed at their respective locations. The aim of this programme is to emphasize the bond which bound to share with the families of the service personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the name of our mother land.
