OPENING OF Emergency Treatment Unit AND LABORATORY COMPLEX AT SLAF STATION PALAVI

The newly constructed Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) & Laboratory Complex at Medical Section and WO’s & SNCO’s Duty Rest Room at SLAF Station Palavi was declared open by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana today (14 January 2022) fulfilling a vital requirement of the Station. Later, the Commander planted a sapling to remark the event.
The construction of the ETU & Laboratory Complex was concluded under the supervision of Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palavi Group Captain Jagath Godakanda.
Subsequently, the Commander visited Surface Treatment Plant (STP) in order to check the feasibility to commence the operations of STP.
The event was attended by Officers together with a cross section of Other Ranks from the SLAF Station Palavi. All proceeding were held in accordance with health guidelines for the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
