The change of command of Air Defence Gunnery Training School, SLAF Station Iranamadu held yesterday (20 January 2022) where the traditional Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Station Parade Square. The outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander MJ Ranaweera handed over the Command to Wing Commander TM Gooneratne MSc (Def & Strat Stu), B Com (Def Stu), psc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander MJ Ranaweera expressed his gratitude to all service personal for the support extended during his tenure at the School.

The new Commanding Officer, Wing Commander TM Gooneratne previously served as Assistant Director at District Disaster Management Centre Unit Colombo before being appointed to Command of the SLAF Air Defence Gunnery Training School, Iranamadu.
