The handing over/ taking over of Equipment Provisioning and Accounting Unit Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake took place on 14 February 2022 where outgoing Commanding Officer Air Commodore SR Udakumbura MA, BA, (Def Stud), Pg Dip (Socio), MISMM, MIM, (SL), AMIPM, AMITD (SL) Logistics handed over the Command to Group Captain B S De S Weerawardena USP, BSc (Def Stu).

The new Commanding Officer Group Captain B S De S Weerawardena USP, BSc (Def Stu) hold the appointment of Chief Equipment Officer Supply and Maintenance Depot SLAF Base Katunayake before being appointed to Commanding Officer Equipment Provisioning and Accounting Unit SLAF Base Katunayake.
