The traditional Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade took place today (07 March 2022) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya where the Acting Commanding Officer Wing Commander RGJP Kotinkaduwa BA (Def Stu), psc, handed over command to Group Captain BWDNM Samarakoon USP, MHRM, BA (Def Stu).

Group Captain BWDNM Samarakoon USP, MHRM, BA (Def Stu) previously held the appointment of Commanding Officer of the No. 01 Leisure and Recreation Wing at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya.
