The Children's party of Sri Lanka Air Force Palavi was held on 06 December 2010 in the camp premises with the participation of approximately 100 children. Over 500 personnel inclusive of servicemen and civilians of the unit, with their spouses participated.

The Commanding Officer Wing Commander Ranjith Hemachandra graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sri Lanka Air Force band, ‘Eagles’ added musical value to the event.

Many events were organized for the entertainment of the children. A Magic show conducted by Mr. Hashan Fernando, Air Dog show, games for children and songs by the Derana Little star winner, Bouncers, Pony rides and a Merry go round as well as fast food outlets added to the fun and frolic.
