Students from Mannar Visit SLAF Museum

Over 90 differently able students from Mannar paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum at Ratmalana on Saturday, 11 December, 2010.
Seeing the sights and sounds of Colombo for the first time in their lives, the students from Thaddchana Maradamadu College in Palampiddy, Mannar were given a warm welcome by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Museum Wing Commander Malinda Perera and his staff.
Following the tour, the children were taken to the Dehiwela Zoological Gardens and an evening of fun at the Galle Face green.
The visit was organized under the patronage of Group Commander, Sri Lanka Air Force Special Operations Group Vanni group Captain Clyde Weerakoon and Commanding Officer of No. 40 SLAF Regiment Wing, Squadron Leader Dinesh Jayasinghe.
