COMMAND LEGAL DEPARTMENT HOLDS LEARNING SESSION ON LEGAL AID SERVICES

The 5th and 6th Legal Aid Programmes were successfully held at Sri Lanka Air force Station Ampara and Sri Lanka Air force Station Baticaloa on 17 March and 18 March 2022 respectively by the Command Legal Department of the Air Force. The Legal Aid Programme was initiated under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and on the instructions of the Director Legal, Air Commodore Sureka Dias.
The recent programmes were conducted in 3 sessions which included a brief introduction of the legal system of Sri Lanka and Air Force Law, opportunity for the audience to ask common questions and a session to clarify personal legal matters where legal advices were given by Legal Officers of the Command Legal Department.
