SLAF SPORTS CLUB VICTORIOUS AGAINST MOORS SPORTS CLUB

A victory in the cricket Major Club Emerging 3 - Day Tournament, Group ‘A’ was set at Air Force Ground, Katunayake yesterday (20 March 2022) between Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club and Moors Sports Club.

After being shot out for 150 in the first innings Moors SC recovered to score 339-8 before declaring their second innings leaving Air Force to chase 172 off 47 overs. The Air Force Sports Club took up challenge and reached the target with 2.5 overs to spare scoring 174-5. Opener Kemira Wijenayake played the winning role scoring 82 off 140 balls to see the Airmen home. The team captain Udayawansha Parakrama made a stunning job scoring 169 to head on the Air Force Sports Club to the victory.

Moors SC: 150 and 339 - 8 (Dinuka Dilshan- 115, Sohan de Livera- 74)
