According to a concept of Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, in view of felicitating Retired Air Force Officers by providing leisure and re-creational facilities to appreciate their utmost service to Nation, newly constructed “CESSNA COTTAGE” Retired Officers‘  Holiday Home at Nuwara Eliya was virtually declared open by the Commander yesterday (09 April 2022).

The Holiday home is consisted with a living room, dining room, pantry and four bed rooms along with fully fledge customized interiors.

Simultaneously, in the view of refreshing civilians who visit the Piduruthalagala Summit,Commanding Officer SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Group Captain Thushara Bandara declared open “Café De 8200” which is a coffee shop and a souvenir shop. A cross section of officers and airmen at the SLAF Station Piduruthalagala participated to witness the opening ceremony.
