The 70th National Lifesaving Championship – 2021/2022 was organized by the Sri Lanka Lifesaving Association which was held on 03 and 04 June 2022 at Sri Jayawardanapura swimming pool complex and Lifesaving Headquarters Mount Lavinia.

The SLAF men’s and women’s lifesaving teams were able to smoothly sail through events against other competitors in the tournament and SLAF Lifesaving Men and Women teams emerged as champs at the 70th National Lifesaving Championship 2021/2022 securing 01 Gold, 06 Silver and 05 Bronze medals by Men’s team and 08 Gold and 08 Silver medals by Women’s Team. Also the SLAF Men’s ‘B’ team secured the overall 1st Runner up.
