INTER UNIT WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP - 2022

The Inter Unit Wrestling Championship 2022 was held from 06 June to 08 June 2022 at SLAF Base Katunayake.
The Men’s Championship was won by the SLAF Station Colombo and the Women’s Championship was secured by the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa. SLAF Base Ratmalana and SLAF Base Anuradhapura emerged as joint Runners Up in Men’s category. The Women’s Runner Up was secured by SLAF Station Colombo.
Trophy for the Best Technical Wrestler for Men and Women categories was clinched respectively by Flying Officer Niroshan Bandara from SLAF Base Ratmalana and Flying Officer Madushika Edirisinghe from SLAF Academy China Bay. The Director General Engineering, Air Vice Marshal TADR Senanayake graced the Awarding Ceremony as the Chief Guest. Members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees participated to witness the final session.
