The Certificates and Badges Awarding Ceremony of No 42 Officers, No 58 Airmen and No 33 Navy Personnel Explosive Ordinance Disposal Basic Courses was held today (15 June 2022) at Explosive Ordinance Disposal Training School SLAF Station Palavi. The Command Development Project Officer Air Commodore DCI Weerasooriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The parade comprised with 02 SLAF Officers, 02 Navy Officers, 17 Airmen and 06 Sailors. During the ceremony 27 trainees received their certificates and badges to mark the successful completion of Explosive Ordinance Disposal basic training.

Lieutenant DACS Chathuranga was adjudged as the Best All-round Explosive Ordinance Disposal Officer from Officers’ Course and Leading Aircraftman Weerasinghe GT was adjudged as the Best All-round Airman from Airmen’s and Sailors’  Courses. Special award winners are as follows.
