The Change of Command of SLAF Station Colombo, held today (08 August 2022) at the Station premises. The Handing Over/Taking Over parade was conducted at the Station where the Outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Vice Marshal MDJ Wasage USP, MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, Pg Dip (IR) handed over the command to Air Commodore PSN Fernando RSP, MDS, MA (Sec Stu – USA), psc.

After 35 years of illustrious and dedicated service the departing Commanding Officer, Air Vice Marshal Dilshan Wasage, will bid adieu to the Sri Lanka Air Force today (08 August 2022).

The new Commanding Officer, Air Commodore PSN Fernando commanded SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa before being appointed to command of SLAF Station Colombo.
