The Change of Command of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala held today (31 August 2022). The traditional handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the station parade ground where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain DBV Weerasinghe USP, MDS, BSc (Def Stu), psc handed over the command to Group Captain SPS Martino USP, Msc (Def & Strat Stu), BSc (Def Stu) Aero Eng, C Eng, Pg Dip (HRM), GCGI (SL), FIE (SL), MIE (SL), MIET (UK), MIIE (SL), MR Ae S, psc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain DBV Weerasinghe, took over the command at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala on 03 August 2021 and will be proceeding to Air Force Headquarters to take over the duties as Staff Officer Electronics I.
