Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana made a formal visit to SLAF Academy China Bay yesterday (03 September 2022). The Commander was accompanied by the Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore Asela Jayasekara. The Commander carried out an inspection at the No.1 Flying Training Wing and Officer Cadets’ Accommodations to review the standards maintained and the progression of the Officer Cadets’ training curriculum at the Academy.

Eventually, the Commander interviewed a cross-section of service and civil personnel with the intention to scrutinize the matters on welfare, working environment, infrastructure facilities and quality of life before concluding the formal visit.
