A new Welfare Shop for the personnel at SLAF Unit Sigiriya was established recently.

Under the welfare shop concept, shops have been established throughout the SLAF and are centrally serviced by the Central Welfare Shop established at Guwanpura in Colombo. The Welfare shop provides all essentials at extremely low cost. This shop at SLAF Sigirya was established on the intiative of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya Wing Commander Chaminda Silva.

The project is a brain child of the present Commander to ensure the welfare of the men and women under his Command.
