SLAF Base Ratmalana held its Children’s party followed by the Base Annual Get together on 23 December 2010 with the participation of children and the families of the Service personnel and civil staff.

The Base Commander SLAF Ratmalana, Air Commodore Sumangala Dias graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The event was commenced in the afternoon with games for the Children’s of all ages. The Children’s party celebrations drew to a close with the much anticipated arrival of Santa Clause who distributed presents to the children adding color to the afternoon.

The evening was packed with impressive activities for the participants both young and old, with a variety of dance, fancy dress competition, colorful fireworks and more games. Musical supplement was by the SLAF Beat Group who added color to the occasion and were joined by a dance troupe also from SLAF.
