The Annual Children’s Party and Get – together of the Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya was held at the Station premises, on the 28th December 2010. Over 1200 personnel participated in the celebrations Including station service and civilians.

Unlike the previous Year’s Children Party, the children of the Air Force war heroes (Killed in Action / Disabled), living in close proximity to the SLAF Station Sigiriya, together with their families were invited to partake in these celebrations.  It was indeed heartening to observe the happiness on the faces of these children. Without any exaggeration, these children enjoyed to their hearts’ content. So did their family members.

Furthermore, the service personnel who had retired from this Station subsequent to completion 22 years of service and their families too were invited and felicitated.
