The Inter Unit Elle Championship 2022 was held at Hospital Ground SLAF Base Katunayake from 12 October 2022 to 18 October 2022. The Awarding Ceremony took place at Sports Arena SLAF Base Katunayake with the graceful presence of Director Logistics, Air Commodore RN Thilakesinghe as the Chief Guest.

The Men’s Championship was claimed by the SLAF Base Katunayake whilst the Women’s Championship was secured by SLAF Trade Training School Ekala. SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport emerged as the Runner Up in the Men’s category and SLAF Base Ratmalana in Women’s category.

Chairman SLAF Elle, Group Captain Udaya De Silva, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera, members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees participated in the event.
