The Inter Unit Karate Championship 2022 was conducted on the 02nd and 03rd November 2022 and the Awarding Ceremony was held at the SLAF Health Management Center, Colombo with the graceful presence of the Director Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Hemantha Zoysa as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Academy China Bay and SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa claimed the Joint Championship in Men’s whilst SLAF Station Colombo secured the Championship in Women’s. However, SLAF Station Colombo and the SLAF Academy China Bay respectively claimed the title of Runners –Up in the Men’s and Women’s categories.

Director Sports, Air Commodore Senaka Fernandopulle, Commanding Officer of SLAF Volunteer Force, Air Commodore Mohan Balasooriya, Chairman SLAF Karate, Air Commodore Muditha Mahawattage, Members of the Air Force Sports Council and the Invitees attended the ceremony.
