Dharmaraja College, Kandy and the Old Rajans Ravaviru Association paid their highest tribute to its alumni, Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana at the college premises yesterday (10 November 2022) during a special assembly in keeping with Darmaraja College’s tradition of recognizing those who have achieved the highest degree of recognition and achievement in society.

The ceremony showcased an impressive pageantry of current Dharmaraja College students and staff members, with the college cadet platoon and the Rajan's band heralding the parade, with a distinguished gathering of past Rajan's Tri-Service members.

Speaking at the ceremony, the present principle of Dharmaraja College, Mr. KKP Ariyasinghe stated that Dharmaraja College has a history of producing noble sons who serve the country in the highest offices and Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, who had excelled in sports, studies and extracurricular activities whilst at school and has reached to a prestigious position as the 18th Commander of the Air Force, is a source of pride to his alma mater.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Students, Teachers, Old boys, well-wishers and the Rajans in active service of  the Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air force.
