The defence Services games’ Handball Tournament 2022 was held at Saniro Airport Sports Complex Hotel Minuwangoda from 09 November to 11 November 2022. The final session and awards ceremony were also held at the same venue.

The overall Women’s Team Championship was secured by the SL Air Force team while SL Army emerged as Runners up (17-14). During the presentation of special awards Leading Aircraftwoman Dharmawardana HBD awarded as the Best Goal Keeper and Leading Aircraftwoman Munidasa as the Best Player of the tournament.

Members of the Defence Service Sports Board and other invitees participated to witness the final sessions.
