SLAF INTER UNIT & OPEN BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP - 2022

The Inter Unit Badminton Championship 2022 was held at the Air Force Health Management Center (AFHMC) in Colombo from 08 to 11 November 2022, with the participation of players representing all SLAF establishments.
SLAF Academy China Bay secured the Championship while SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, emerged as Runner-Up.
Flying Officer PYTS Siriwardane of SLAF Base, Hingurakgoda and Pilot Officer IAS Sandeshi of SLAF Station, Colombo secured the Open Men’s and Women’s Single Championships respectively.
The Awards Ceremony was held at the Air Force Health Management Center yesterday (11 November 2022) with the graceful presence by Director General Engineering of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal TADR Senanayake as the Chief Guest.
The event was attended by Chairman SLAF Badminton, Air Commodore SWCP Bodhiseela, members of the Air Force Sports Council, officers and other ranks.
