THE HALF CONSTRUCTION HOUSING PROJECT OF SEVA VANITHA UNIT – 2022

The Half Construction Housing project of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit – 2022 was completed yesterday (28 November 2022). Service personnel and Civil Employees were facilitated through 14 house construction projects under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana in view of uplifting the living standards of the personnel who are currently serving in Sri Lanka Air Force establishments.
At the commencement, all SLAF establishments were given an opportunity to consider the grievances of service personnel and civilian employees and the most deserving 14 personnel were chosen to complete their half constructed houses. The projects were on track since January this year and the final project was completed yesterday (28 November 2022).
All projects were conducted under the supervision of Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal HWMU Wijesinghe and with proper coordination of respective Base Commanders and Commanding Officers. Following, service and civil employees received financial and labour assistance through this project.
